Ian was great answering my questions before I ordered my peony roots. I collect peonies, so I’m picky :) Roots arrived in time frame promised, packaging was so pretty (not that it mattered) and each root was labeled professionally with batch number and everything! Root was a great size. I am very excited about the coloring of this one-can’t wait to see in blooming in a spring or two. Would not hesitate to order again!
I bought one Sarah Bernhardt and one Shirley Temple bare root. They were shipped quickly after I ordered them. The roots were very well packed and protected, and the box wasn’t overly big so it fit perfectly well in my mailbox.
Ian messaged and offered to answer any questions. I've never grown peonies before, but these were for my mom and I knew I had to keep them alive until Easter, so I asked for directions. I figured maybe I'd be sent a link for planting resources online, but Ian sent me a great step by step personally of how to pot and care for them!! Usually my garden center just looks me up and down and tells me to beat it.
My purchase was seamless, the shipping was fast, and I got great information regarding how to handle what I received. All in all, I will be purchasing from this shop again, especially for peonies!
